Description

The Edea Boot Storage Straps are designed to be used whenever your skates are not on your feet. They help the boots maintain their shape and improve lateral ankle support. Typically, they’re attached to the bottom hook (the smallest set of holes) with the tongue pulled forward, and the straps positioned behind the tongue.

Available in White and Black.

I was up in Auckland for a few days and wanted to check out some new boots and blades as we don’t have any skate shops in Wellington. I didn’t realise that you had to book a fitting, but when we arrived we were helped straight away! I think a lady called Jacquie helped me – she was wonderful! Super helpful and knowledgable. She even offered to bedazzle and print a design that I wanted on my blades. Highly recommend SkatersEdge! Would give them more than 5 stars if I could

Absolutely exceptional mounting, sharpening, and service! The virtual fitting experience was top-notch as well, and the range offered is unparalleled. I sincerely wish SkatersEdge had a presence in my country! It’s my firm belief that anyone attributing faults to their service is either being unfairly negative or exhibiting an unreasonable attitude!

Great service and advice before, during and after fitting. Skates where sent out very soon after the fitting. The combo itself is a perfect setup for a (mostly) newbie like me, with the only thing I had to change being the cushions, as the ones standard with my plate size was too soft for my weight. I could not be more pleased. Thank you Team Skater’s Edge. Your service is much appreciated.

Can’t fault their virtual boot fitting service, yet the turnaround time is a bit slow.
I did try to ring to speak to the assigned ticket person who is doing my virtual boot fitting, yet I was told communication can only be done via email. I prefer to be more personal than just using email…

From processing order perspective, do expect few days to process your confirmed order after virtual fitting. It took 3 to 4 days for mine (exclude Sunday which the shop doesn’t open) before my confirmed order is shipped.

From payment perspective, the card processing fee is high (3.1%), which I wasn’t even aware of after reading up their payment policy. I would recommend using bank transfer instead.

We recently purchased skates for our teenage daughter from Skaters Edge using their virtual fitting tool. Right from the very start we got all the friendly help and and support we needed. We felt very confident placing our order knowing that our daughter’s measurements would be used to adjust the skates to fit her feet perfectly. The staff even went out of their way to prepare and post the skates off quickly so that they arrived in time for our daughter’s birthday. Jacquie and Faye went above and beyond to fit us in their schedule as I was on a time constraint. That very morning, my fiancée had her 6th ice skating lesson and watching her from the side of the rink was enough to want to treat her to her own pair of skates as she was renting each time.

Jacquie and Faye were phenomenal with the fitting, product recommendations, customizations, and were knowledgeable with answers to each of our questions regarding ice skating and equipment. My fiancée was very excited for her own pair of ice skates during the fitment and we are truly grateful for the time of Jacquie and Faye. We are looking forward to joining the ice skating community!

Highly recommend popping by to get properly fitted if you’re thinking of purchasing some new skates. The team were super helpful and knowledgeable, they provided me with the info I needed to take care of my skates but not so much info to overwhelm a relatively new skater. I am beyond happy with my purchase and I will come back when I need new skates in the future.

They provide this for free unbelievably, with their wealth of knowledge they were able to best provide me with a super accurate fit for my new quad skates. Faye is awesome!!
She is so friendly, professional and very very attentive!
I received the perfect pair of inline figures skates from Sydney in just 4 days which was very surprising.
Their virtual fitting system is very accurate as my new inline skates fit exactly the same as my ice skates, even though they are from different brands.
