Edea Chorus – Support, Stability, and Comfort for Developing Skaters

The Edea Chorus is designed for skaters ready to take the next step in their skating journey. Built with a blend of advanced technology and flexible support, it helps developing athletes gain more control, stability, and jump height. Using design elements inspired by the Piano and Ice Fly, the Chorus offers the perfect balance of performance and comfort for skaters working toward stronger edges, cleaner technique, and more powerful jumps.

Performance Features

Lower Centre of Gravity for Better Stability

The thinner sole helps lower the skater’s centre of gravity, improving balance and edge control. The supportive shell enhances stability while allowing skaters to refine their technique with confidence.

Comfort That Adapts to the Skater

  • Memory foam padding that holds the foot securely without pressure points
  • Soft collar for increased ankle mobility
  • Ergonomic shape that works naturally with the foot
  • Fully customisable fit when heat‑moulded in store

These features help skaters feel comfortable and supported through long training sessions.

Designed for Progress

The Chorus combines high‑quality materials and thoughtful design to help skaters progress faster. The boot offers the responsiveness needed for developing jumps and the control required for clean edges and turns. It’s built to help skaters feel “at home” on the ice from the very first session.

Handmade in Italy

Every pair of Edea Chorus boots is handcrafted in Edea’s factory near Venice, Italy. More than 70 skilled artisans contribute to each boot, ensuring exceptional quality, precision, and the unmistakable Edea feel. The result is a beautifully made skate that supports the skater’s growth at every stage.

Welcome to one of world's most famous virtual fitting service.

"The skates and blades I purchased fit perfectly! I live in Australia and so the virtual fitting was a blessing as I wasn't able to try them on before buying. The skates and blades I purchased fit perfectly!"

- Caroline A, AU

Skates are meant to fit like socks.

Contrary to most people's understanding, buying skates should not be like buying shoes. Instead of presenting your normal shoe size and using a conversion chart to choose a size, we need to ensure a proper fit to avoid the blades/plates from sitting in the wrong place relative to the ball area of your foot where all the magic happen.

At SkatersEdge, we understand how correctly fitted boots contribute to the enjoyment of the sport and progress of learning. We have enough foot data to provide you with the best fit, even when you're not in store to try on the skates.

Simply follow our virtual fitting instructions and we’ll recommend the perfect fit — even if you’re on the other side of the world!

Our Blade Mounting Options:
1. Temporary Mount (Temp Mount):
- With a temporary mount, we will use only 4 temporary screws per boot to attach the blades. This setup allows you to test your alignment on the ice and make any necessary adjustments before committing to a full mount.
- A temporary mount is ideal if you have a technician or coach available to observe you skating and help adjust your alignment.
- You must secure the blades with full mount screws as soon as testing is complete.
- While using a temporary mount, you should avoid toe jumps and aggressive movements to prevent blade shifting.

2. Full Mount:
- For a full mount, we will secure the blades with 6 to 8 screws per boot, providing a more permanent attachment.
- Even with a full mount, you will still have the option to adjust alignment later, though the process may not be as flexible as with a temporary mount.

Sharpening:
- The most commonly used hollow depth for our customers is 1/2 inch (0.5 inch). This is a versatile option that provides a good balance between edge grip and glide, making it suitable for most skaters.
- If you have specific preferences or requirements for sharpening, please let us know so we can tailor the service to your needs.

Our sharpening service is break‑in free, so you won’t get that “stuck” feeling that often happens after a regular sharpen.
