I’m a 39yo male single skater who is struggling with axel / double salchow & camel spins. I skate once or twice 2-3 hours per session per week.

Coming from Pattern 99 Rev to Matrix Supreme, I found that Matrix stainless steel is really much more superior in term of edge retention (be careful they can cut easily too) & rust prevention. (Rev will rust if I don’t oil after sharpening or if I left them unoiled & didn’t skate for more than a week)

Matrix stainless steel feels more solid & harder by touching or rubbing lightly against it’s edge.

Downside it is noisier during skating (from what I read online it is because of the aluminum frame). However it is not a problem for me so practice to skate / step more gently. Coming from straight cut toe pick, I don’t fancy the cross cut toe pick (personal preference).

Overall I’m very satisfy with Matrix Supreme purchase from SkatersEdge, the blades are well packed & shipped to me in good condition.
