2023 update: Due to supply issues some boots/blades/plates are out of stock, if you need them urgently, please contact us to check stock before placing an order.

We usually have everything in stock other than some sizes of the Advanced Boots, Blades and Plates. We dispatch as soon as payment is cleared. If you are paying by bank deposit, please send us a screenshot of your bank transfer confirmation to speed up the process.

Delivery Timeframe:

    • Please allow 2-3 business days for the preparation and dispatch of your skate orders. We take great pride in assembling, sharpening, and preparing all skates in-store to ensure maximum precision and accuracy you can trust.
    • Next delivery for North Island, 2 days for South Island, allow 1 additional day for rural delivery.
    • We do not dispatch orders on Saturdays and Sundays.
    • Please email us on cs@skatersedge.co.nz quoting your order number if you do not receive your parcel within 7 business days after payment’s made and we’ll gladly chase it up for you.

Domestic Shipping Rates:

    • $5 for Auckland delivery.
    • $10 for North Island delivery outside Auckland.
    • $10 – $15 for South Island delivery.

International Orders:

  • All international orders are delivered via DHL Express.
  • NZ$45 flat rate for all AU destinations (1-3 days).
  • NZ$80 flat rate for rest of the world (3-8 days).
  • Flat shipping rate is based on the weight of a pair of skates with some accessories(~3kgs).

We have bank account in a few countries to make things easier. You can pay to these accounts in your local currency. Once order is placed, we will get back to you with converted amount to transfer. Please email us if you do not hear from us in 12 hours.

Please ensure to include your order number as a “Reference” when making a bank transfer for payment. This will help us accurately locate and process your payment. Failure to include the order number will result in delays with your order.

Refund Policy

Order can be cancelled and refunded as long as it’s not dispatched, ordered nor mounted. Payment gateway fees will not be returned as we do not get a refund for the fees. Please contact us to confirm stock availability if you are purchasing high value items and need them urgently.

Return Policy

  • All clearance items are sold as-is, final sale: No refunds, no returns, and no further price adjustments.
  • Product returns from overseas that are not due to our error will incur a 10% handling and restocking fee.
  • To return any item, you must contact SkatersEdge on at info@skatersedge.co.nz for instructions and approval.
  • A product may be returned ONLY in its original and unworn condition within 7 days of receiving.
  • Orders may only be canceled within 24 hours of placing the order, or before the item(s) has been shipped, whichever is earlier.
  • Please note that once skates (boots + blades, boots + plates) are assembled, they cannot be returned for any reason.
    • Our virtual fitting service aims to provide helpful guidelines, and we offer sizing suggestions based on our knowledge, previous foot data and strictly according to supplier sizing guideline. You might find the recommended size not suitable if you have previously unknown foot condition or personal preferences. Therefore, we strongly advise against requesting mounting service if you haven’t tried on the skates prior to purchase. Note unless product is confirmed defective by its supplier, in the case of returning and exchange, we will not cover the return shipping and resending costs.
    • By selecting one of our services (mounting, sharpening, etc.), you are placing trust in our many years of expertise, Please note that returns will not be accepted based on feedback from coaches, friends, or other technicians, Returns are only possible if the issue is recognised by the boots or blades supplier.  If you anticipate needing to adjust the blade alignment, we recommend choosing a temporary mounting or no mounting. Otherwise, we will proceed with the industry-standard default alignment.
  • SkatersEdge is not liable for return shipping or re-shipping costs associated with orders placed incorrectly by the customer. If an overseas return and refund are requested, the actual sending charge will be deducted by SkatersEdge, rather than the subsidized shipping charge initially incurred during the order placement.
  • There are no returns or exchanges for opened package cut blade guards, soakers or anything that has customisation done before sending.
  • Unworn apparel may be exchanged for a different size if it is new, unwashed, in the original packaging with tags still attached and no rips, torn seams, odors, or stains of any kind. Tights can not be returned/exchanged due to hygiene reasons, please refer confirm sizing on size chart before ordering.
  • If the return is due to our error, or defective in accordance with a manufacturer’s warranty, (photos of the defect must be provided before a return is accepted) SkatersEdge will pay for return shipping via an emailed, pre-paid return shipping label and new shipping charges for the correctly ordered product within our service scope (New Zealand).
